SUITE: 7500 FINISH: NAME: Blue Camille Material C1: B-40119 Material C2: 1220A00007 Material C3: 1340D00353 Material C4: 1340B00021 Material C5: 1136B00001 Material C6: TOPCOAT: 5 Sheen 1. Apply B-40119 with a fine bristle paint brush. Work material into desired pattern. Original pattern for Camille was to leave streaks. 2. 1220A00007. Spray uniform coat overall. Allow material to dry. 3. Hand sand overall until the material in Step 1 surfaces though the material in Step 2. The color will not be correct at this point. You must anticipate the contribution of the Glaze in Step 6 to the overall picture. A good practice is to experiment with this finish on a scrap of wood. 4. 134D00353. Apply stripe to the desired areas with a small piece of white felt. The felt can be cut to fit the width of the area being striped. 5. Lacquer. Spray a uniform coat overall. 6. 1340B00021. Spray a uniform coat of this material onto the piece. Immediately wipe the surface with a rag to adjust the color. A clean fine bristle brush may be needed to remove the material from recessed areas. When the desired amount of color has been achieved allow the material to dry before the next step. 7. 1136B00001. Spatter. Several methods of application can be utilized here. The first is the spatter gun. Then Second is a conventional air gun turned upside down with low air and fluid settings. The most common method used outside the factory is as follows. Dip a brush (toothbrush, flux, or small bristle) in the material allowing it to drain until it no longer drips. Hold the brush approximately 8-10 inches from the surface and gently pull back the bristles and release - allowing the material to travel through the air in droplet form. If material is too strong in color then it may be thinned with lacquer thinner. 8. Lacquer. Spray uniform coat overall. ***Factory Clearcoat Specs. Washcoat may not be needed for furniture that has been washed off.
